Michael C. Bond, MD, FACEP, FAAEM, is an Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, and an attending physician at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He is also the associate designated institutional official at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr Bond received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine/internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and an Emergency Medicine Foundation teaching fellowship with the American College of Emergency Physicians. In addition, Dr Bond served in the US Navy Reserve as a General Medical Officer.
Dr Bond has authored or co-authored 40 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, 4 books, and 15 book chapters. He has presented more than 140 lectures and workshops at facilities and professional society meetings nationally and internationally.
