Loice Swisher MD MAAEM FAAEM is core faculty as the Director of Well Being for the AdventHealth Emergency Medicine Residency Program at East Orlando. For 3 decades Dr Swisher has worked as a community emergency medicine physician. In 2016, she developed a passion and expertise in physician suicide prevention after an emergency medicine resident killed himself cofounding the National Physician Suicide Awareness Day on September 17th, 2018. Over the past 7 years she has worked with a variety of variety of national organizations speaking, writing and creating new programs related to barriers to physician wellness.
