Dr. Brian Parker grew up in Texas and is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. After completing his graduate work at the University of Wisconsin, he obtained his medical degree at UTHealth in San Antonio. His residency was at the University of Maryland. Since graduation, he went back home to become an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at UTHealth San Antonio. He has previously published on providing optimal emergent and critical care to unique populations, such as the morbidly obese. His other interests include resident education, ECG interpretation, and the interface of technology/medicine, such as the evolving use of TEE in cardiac arrest.
