Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean of Medical Education
Sanford School of Medicine at University of South Dakota
Harrisburg, South Dakota
I am a 2014 graduate of the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota. I completed my residency training at HealthPartners Institute at Regions Hospital in St.Paul, MN where I served as chief resident during my third year. Currently, I am an emergency physician at Avera Health, a community practice hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. I also serve as an Assistant Professor and the Assistant Dean of Medical Education at the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota where I work on developing curriculum, specifically for medical students entering their clinical training. I have been involved with AAEM since residency and have been lucky enough to serve as a YPS councilor for this year and last year. In addition to working with medical student education, I also serve as the medical director for the School of EMS, a school dedicated to teaching future paramedics and EMTs.
