Dr. Wood is the Director of Ultrasound education for the Abrazo Emergency Medicine residency in Phoenix, AZ. He has been a registered medical sonographer since 1996. He helped establish the Emergency Medicine ultrasound fellowship at Christ Hospital in 1996. Dr. Wood has taught or served as course director for over 500 Point-of-Care ultrasound courses around the world.
Dr. Wood is a former President of AAEM.
