Kat Stephanos, MD, FAAEM is faculty at the University of Maryland Medical Center for the departments of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Stephanos completed medical school and a combined Emergency Medicine-Pediatrics residency at the University of Maryland. Afterward she joined the faculty at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry for six years where she was Core Faculty for Emergency Medicine and Assistant Clerkship Director. She returned to her hometown in 2022 and joined the faculty of University of Maryland. Aside from her interest in pediatrics, she is interested in education and bias in medicine. In her free time, you can find Dr. Stephanos spending time with her children, being outdoors, or drawing/painting.
