Patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeds receive numerous therapies when they present to the ED, but which ones actually impact patient centered outcomes? This lecture will discuss the most commonly used therapies to treat GI bleeds, identify the most important interventions that patient survival and dispel dogma related to the therapies we use to treat UGIB patients.
