"How did the Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade?" “How does this impact me in the emergency department?” “Could I go to jail or lose my license?” "Could this impact my interactions with patients beyond pregnant patients?" This session will examine the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and discuss potential impacts on the emergency medicine physician. The speakers will not debate political or personal beliefs on the topic of abortion but will specifically address how overturning Roe was justified by the court and what impact that may have on the emergency medicine physician.
