Steven R. “Steve” Duke – Bio
Steve Duke was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate degree from the Southern Law Center. Mr. Duke has also held Life and Health insurance, Series 7 General Securities, Real Estate Broker’s, and Private Pilot's licenses.
Mr. Duke has been working on public policy and governmental relations issues for over 40 years. He began government work as a student, during legislative sessions, working on the public sector side for the Louisiana State Senate. In 1988, Mr. Duke began his governmental relations and advocacy work in the private sector. Since then, he has represented clients before all three branches of government at the federal, state, and local levels. Mr. Duke has worked across many industries including, but not limited to, Entertainment, Finance, Insurance, Construction, Health Care, Recycling, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, and Transportation. Currently, he represents both private corporations and nonprofit associations before the legislative and executive branches of government. Steve uses his education coupled with his private and public sector experience to address complex issues for his clients. From Grass Roots and Grass Tops programs to Social Media, Elections, Coalition Building, and even Litigation, whatever the tool may be, he has used it to ensure his clients’ success.
When Steve is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Barbara, his four children and four grandchildren, experiencing the uniqueness of Louisiana.
