Dr. Shana Ross DO is an assistant professor of emergency medicine and an associate program director for the University of Illinois at Chicago emergency medicine residency. She is also the Education, Simulation and Conference Director. She attended the Western University of Health Sciences Medical School where she also completed a Pre-Doctoral Teaching Fellowship. She completed her residency here at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has expertise in medical education and is currently pursuing a Masters in Health Professions Education. She is passionate about advancing resident education through innovation and simulation, and improving resident physician wellness. She is a member of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians. She also serves on the Membership Committee of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians and the Education Committee of the Illinois College of Emergency Physicians.
