Dr. Jones attended Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and remained for a residency in internal medicine. He then practiced emergency medicine for ten years and became ABEM board-certified in Emergency Medicine which he practiced for 37 years. Dr. Jones retired from clinical practice in 2011 and formed his own private CME company where he continues to teach advanced ECG interpretation. Dr. Jones has taught and lectured about advanced electrocardiography and dysrhythmia analysis throughout Noth America and in seven countries. Dr. Jones is based in Houston, Texas where he teaches a very international collection of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and critical care paramedics.
