Prianka Kandhal completed her residency training in the dual emergency medicine and pediatrics program at the University of Maryland. She served as chief resident during her 5th year before joining the faculty at the University of Texas San Antonio, where she is highly involved in resident education and splits clinical time between the adult and pediatric emergency departments.
