Dr. Malia Moore is an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at Indiana University. She graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2013 and completed residency at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in 2016. She served 7 years as an active duty Army emergency physician with combat experience. She served as the simulation director and an associate program director at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center before transitioning to the civilian sector. Currently, she is the Associate Director of Simulation Education in the Simulation Medicine Division as well as an Assistant Clerkship Director for the IU School of Medicine EM clerkship. Her clinical interests include residency and medical student curriculum development, feedback in medical education, novel approaches to pain control, and medicolegal topics; she has presented regionally and nationally on this subject matter.
