William Mundo (Will) is a first-generation student and the son of two immigrants from Acapulco, Mexico. He is a husband, new dad, author, doctor, and public health professional. He was born in Los Angeles, California, and was raised in Leadville, Colorado. He graduated from Lake County High School in 2012 and earned his Emergency Medical Technician Certificate from Colorado Mountain College. While at CMC, he completed several pre-requisites classes needed for medical school. He transferred to the University of Colorado Denver where he earned a BS in Public Health and a BA in Ethnic Studies in 2016. While at the University of Colorado, he also received his Master of Public Health in 2018 and his Doctorate in Medicine in 2022. He is currently an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at Denver Health Medical Center.
