Afrah Ali is an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She attended medical school at Gulf Medical University in United Arab Emirates. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center and a Simulation fellowship at University of Maryland Medical Center. She participated in the AAEM speaker development program and had a successful presentation at AAEM21. In her role as a course co- director for various medical students and resident courses, she presents lectures and speaks at local events regularly. Her interest include simulation based education, resusictation, life threatening rashes and psychiatric emergencies.
