Ryan Spangler, MD FAAEM is an attending physician at the Univeristy of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. After completing medical school at Temple University he completed his residency at UMMC and a faculty development fellowship, as well as a chief year. He is currently the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for the department of Emergency Medicine, overseeing the Clerkship and Sub-I. He also is the course director for "Multisystem," a preclinical course at the end of the 2nd year of medical school. His academic interests include Renal/GU emergencies as well as procedural education.
