Dr. Beth Pontius is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Dr. Pontius is passionate about emergency medical education, point-of-care ultrasound education, curricular development, mentorship and wellness, and diversity and inclusion in emergency medicine. In addition to her speaking roles at AAEM19, AAEM22, ACEP20, ACEP21 and AAEM22 Scientific Assemblies, she has authored chapters in Rosen’s Emergency Medicine, EM:RAP’s CorePendium, and Emergency Medicine Clinics.
