Mary McLean is an Assistant Residency Director for the AdventHealth Orlando Emergency Medicine Residency Program. She is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine for the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is an Oregon native and earned her MD from Oregon Health & Science University, then completed her residency training at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, New York. She is a prior ALL NYC EM Resident Education Fellow (2019-2020). She is currently the Lead of the WiEM Education Work Group, and has previously served for the New York ACEP as the Liaison for the Education and Research Committees (2020–2022) and the Chair/Vice Chair of the EM Residents Committee (2018-2020). Her professional interests include research, medical education, bias, and DEI topics. She has spoken nationally and internationally on the ED management of cardiac, neurologic, OB/GYN, neurologic, and traumatic emergencies, as well as on medical education and career development topics. Her personal interests include travel, cats, and food.
