Dr.Tatiana Carrillo was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, followed by her graduate degree in Developmental Biology from Hunter College. She then completed medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. Tatiana went on to complete her residency training in Emergency Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where she served as chief resident.
During residency Tatiana served on EMRA's Diversity and Inclusion committee as Vice Chair with transition to Chair from 2021-2022. Additionally, Tatiana also served as Resident co-chair of ACEP & EMRA diversity and mentoring initiative.
Her interests include mentorship, diversity/inclusion/ equity/ early pipeline initiatives and critical care medicine.
