Capnography is an often overlooked but readily available technology in the emergency department. By attending this lecture, emergency providers will learn about the many practical, lifesaving, and surprising applications of capnography in the emergency department and will be excited to apply their new found appreciation during their next shift.
Learning Objectives:
Apply capnography to a multitude of common pathology found in the emergency department.
Identify misplaced endotracheal tubes prior to patient hypoxia.
Perform more successful cardiac arrest resuscitations.
