Post-partum hemorrhage is a leading cause of maternal death. As well, racial disparities exist in all areas of maternal health, including post-partum hemorrhage. The emergency physician must be familiar with the rapid treatment and stabilization of post-partum hemorrhage. This session will review the clinical assessment and treatment of post-partum hemorrhage for the emergency physician.
