Show Me the “D”: Using Bedside Echocardiography in the Evaluation of Right Heart Strain

This session will showcase key bedside echocardiographic findings found in right heart strain to aid in the diagnosis of right ventricular dysfunction, an often-overlooked etiology of undifferentiated shock. This presentation will outline ultrasound findings and diagnostic criteria generalizable to Emergency Medicine providers at all skill levels and in different critical care settings.
