This course will focus on caring for wounded patients from point of injury to arrival at your facility, and lessons on prolonged casualty care for patients who are delayed in receiving definitive care, applying military experiences to an active shooter event. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to practice skills and techniques related to the instructional material. Physicians, residents, students, and allied health professionals such as advanced practice providers, nurses and paramedics are invited to participate.
